It's a little tricky, but you can change it directly in the database
through Cpanel.
Here are the steps:
* Click phpMyAdmin within Cpanel.
* Select the database of your WordPress install.
* Find the wp_users table and click Browse.

You can choose the PHP vesion you want inside Cpanel, just click
"Select PHP Version". If your WordPress is requiring PHP 7.2, this is
the place to update it.
Using the top dropdown on the page, select the PHP version you want,
and click "Set as Cur...
